HEAVY WAX COATING:Beehives are made of top quality cedar wood. The high quality wood ensures a healthy life for the bees. And the beehive exterior is coated with beeswax which makes the hive waterproof and more durable. The plastic foundation sheets are also 100% beeswax dipped.
